Mindfulness for Littles

We will regularly post ideas for mindfulness activities with littles.  These are practices that are being naturally weaved into everyday life instead of being an after-thought.  Many of the mindfulness activities are sensory-based. Some are organic games, and others are just to calm down and cultivate compassion. Kids can’t be expected to sit still for long periods of time, so the focus of mindfulness activities for littles are short bursts of present-state awareness or relaxation that can be repeated.  Below are some of the activities:
