Activities for Littles

Every week I’m experimenting with mindfulness activities with my littles.  We are naturally weaving in mindfulness into our daily lives instead of having it be an after-thought.  Many of our mindfulness activities are sensory-based. Some are games we create ourselves, and others are just to calm down and cultivate compassion. Kids can’t be expected to sit still for long periods of time, so the focus of mindfulness activities for littles are short bursts of present-state awareness or relaxation that can be repeated.  Below are some of the types of activities we are trying:
