The Ripple Effect of Kindness

Kindness is at the core of everything we do at Mindful Littles. By practicing kindness to oneself, we in turn are able to spread kindness in the world. Even the smallest acts of kindness have a ripple effect into the world, and can have such a great impact for both the giver and the receiver.

Mindful Middle Gaby experienced the profound impact kindness can have while doing our Kindness Rock activity (below). The recipient of her kindness rock was moved deeply after receiving her gift with the painted message: The struggle you have today, is the strength you’ll have tomorrow.

“Those words, Gaby’s gesture of kindness, gave me the courage to confront a struggle I have been grappling with, so here we are… I have just completed my 2nd round of chemotherapy infusions…The meds have subsequently caused my hair to fall out, a lot! A constant trickle, for the last two weeks… and the idea of doing something about it, meant being brave, something I just haven’t been ready for. And then Gaby’s rock showed up on my porch! Thank you Gaby, for giving me the peace, kindness, courage, and hope I need to get through this!” -Kim W.
