Program Offerings:
Family Engagement Program (After-School & Weekend)
Plug Mindful Service Learning directly into your wider school community with our family programs on-site at your school. We’ll train your Community School Director, Wellness Counselors, parents/caregivers, and key stakeholders to help you host fun community events that engage the whole family.
Program options include:
- Integration into existing family school events (e.g., Carnivals, Science Fairs)
- After- School/Weekend Family Projects at your school site
* Currently available in only select regions

Field Trips at a Local Nonprofit
Your school group will get real-world exposure to nonprofits in the community, through pre-coordinated Mindful Service Learning field trips at local organizations. We take care of all the coordination and provide the resources to ensure your group leaders can implement the field trips with minimal effort. Students will engage in learning about nonprofits, while taking part in hands-on, purposeful action at a food bank, farm, or local nonprofit.

“[Students] were very supportive and encouraging of each other during the process….You could see their walls come down during the time we were there”

“The Mindful Littles program on food insecurity is a phenomenal curriculum that supports critical thinking, reflection, and service learning while using grade level standards. The students have gained a deeper understanding and appreciation for the food they eat and are empowered to support others in the community.”
—4th Grade Teacher

The recent Mindful Service Learning experience provided our students with an opportunity to learn how our local/world community contributors make our food abundance a reality while also being mindful of those who do not share in this abundance. All of this contributes to our students’ understanding and appreciation.
— Ed Gregorio, Paradise Ridge Elementary School Principal
