Remember when “like a girl” was meant to be a burn? Not anymore. The more the achievements, stories and lives of women, both past and present, are acknowledged and celebrated, the prouder we all become of living, loving, thinking and being like the incredible girls and women we are and are fortunate to know.
It’s been a stormy winter out here in Northern California. I’m grateful for it because we need the rain, but throw in cooler than usual temperatures and whipping wind and then we truly hunker down.
We all face challenges in our lives, but tapping into our resiliency – the ability to manage stress and hardship – can help us continue on in difficult situations.
