Science Fair Collaboration Empowers Teen Leaders, Strengthens Elementary School Community

Feeling good and doing good is easy with our Mindful Makers programs plugging directly into school Science and Makers Fairs. Recently at Glorietta Elementary’s annual Science & Makers Faire, a unique collaboration with Mindful Littles brought together students, families, and teen leaders to investigate the connection of nature, science and creativity.

Connecting Families Through Mindfulness, Nature, and Community Service

Each year the City of Orinda holds their annual Community Action Day to engage local families and community members in cleanup and environmental service projects on Earth Day. This year at the event, Mindful Littles hosted an Earth Day Spring Carnival for families to connect through our feel good, do good nature activities.

From Learners to Leaders: A Peer-Led Approach to Youth Mental Health

When 11 middle school students from Pine Hollow joined Mindful Littles’ Service Peer Leadership Program, they expected to learn about mindfulness and service. What they helped create instead was a ripple effect of emotional wellness that reached hundreds of students, building resilience from within.
