Our Community Partnership Network

From food banks to regenerative farmers, from shelters to children’s hospitals, our vast network of partners is critical to our program.

Through deep engagement with local community groups over the years, we’ve formed a network of partners that is mutually beneficial and helps anchor our Mindful Service Learning work in community collaboration.

Through these community partnerships, students learn about the web of caring adults who help their local communities— a critical factor in supporting student health outcomes (CDC, 2023). We amplify critical social issues into bite-sized relatable educational videos and kid-appropriate projects that serve essential needs our beneficiaries have.

Our Mindful Service Learning programs have directly benefitted over 40 community partners.

"This morning in our Mindful Littles Project, my students got the opportunity to see the hard work it takes for them to receive the goods they get from food banks and donations. Many of our students are dependent on these types of services and up until these service projects, they most likely have never seen what people are doing behind the scenes to make sure they have food on the table each night. Thank you for all the work you have done with our students and for continuing to help us provide social and emotional support to them."

“A clinician just popped into my office and shared how one of our kids loved the positive words on the hygiene kit. The youth said it felt like Christmas – all because of a hygiene kit. Amazing.”
— Beth Goldberg, Development Director, Youth Homes
“Mindful Littles has been an absolute pleasure to partner with over the last half-decade. Through our collaboration, the North State Food Bank and Mindful Littles have worked closely together to provide high-impact Mindful Service Learning experiences for elementary students in Butte County. These experiences continue to provide simple but impactful ways for kids to engage in meaningful community service and build awareness of our cause. It has been great for the Food Bank's bottom dollar and for the hundreds of families that receive food packaged by local youth. We are thrilled to continue our partnership for greater collaborative impact for our community.”
— Tim Hawkins, CEO, Butte County Community Action Agency, North State Food Bank
"Thank you for helping us in our mission to break down the walls that divide and bring people together in meaningful, fun, and life-changing experiences."
— Day Program Director, Las Trampas
"Mindful Littles donations are extremely thoughtful and intentional, which makes a major difference for the quality of our service window. It is always great to see a child receive an item donated by another child - the drawings and positive messages bring a sense of community and hope to the families we serve. We can always feel the love when working with such a beautiful organization!"
