Our Professional Development Approach

Seamless Integration. Long-Term Sustainability. Maximum Impact.

Mindful Littles is committed to fostering compassion and community connection for long term, sustainable impact. We do this though our three pillars for easy integration into classroom and culture— training, curriculum, and success measures.

Training for Guided Implementation

Educators join group coaching sessions to  learn how to integrate service learning, practice mindfulness habits, and reflect on their progress through our program.

School Success Measures

Working with public health research and data evaluation advisors, we have integrated evaluation tools throughout our program to measure student success.

Integrated Curriculum for Applied Student Learning

Hands-on Community Service Projects

We work closely with our robust nonprofit partnership network to bring meaningful, kid-friendly community service projects, and leverage our expertise to make them accessible and fun for elementary school children.

Bite-Sized Educational Videos for the Classroom

Our age-appropriate digital videos explain critical social issues and have been developed and tested to be engaging and effective for kids.

Standards-Aligned Learning Extensions

Designed in collaboration with educators, our program is standards-aligned—from academic activities to applied mindfulness, social-emotional learning strategies, and more.

“Although I taught many skills of emotional awareness and regulation it wasn’t until I worked with Mindful Littles that I transitioned from teaching individual lessons to starting habits. This shift has completely transformed my classroom. Many of my students have a hard time regulating themselves, which caused a lot of disruption in the classroom. I have seen a clear difference now that we have instilled this habit in their ability to focus on instruction, each other, and their work more deeply.”
